About xAI Today.

Serious, independent commentary on artificial intelligence and the companies pushing the frontier.

What we cover

xAI Today is a digital publication focused on the frontier of artificial intelligence: foundation models, robotics, compute infrastructure, the policy and economic implications of automation, and the public statements of the people building these systems. We pay particular attention to xAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, Meta AI, Nvidia, Tesla Optimus, and the broader humanoid-robotics industry — but we are not affiliated with any of them.

How we work

Every article is anchored in primary sources: speeches, transcripts, filings, on-the-record interviews, and published research. We quote verbatim where possible, cite sources at the foot of every piece, and flag analysis as analysis. We use generative AI tools for research and copy-editing under human editorial supervision; editorial judgement is always made by people.

Our principles

  • Numerical honesty. When a figure is a forecast, we say so. When it's a rounded estimate, we say so.
  • Quote integrity. Speakers' words are reproduced as accurately as transcripts allow; edits for clarity are marked.
  • Source transparency. Every claim of fact has a citation a reader can verify.
  • Editorial independence. Advertising and affiliate relationships never influence coverage.

How we make money

We are reader-supported and ad-supported. Advertisements may be served via Google AdSense, Meta, and similar networks. Some links may be affiliate links — see our Disclaimer for full details. We never accept payment for editorial coverage.
